The cleaning kit is very effective for removing grease in optical cables. Each set contains 10 solvent-saturated pads and 10 dry towels.

For cleaning optical connectors in those cases where the contamination cannot be cleaned with dry cleaning and fiber optical fibres prior to splicing and termination. The cleaning fluid comes in a tight 85 g pump/spray container that can be stored in your existing tool sets without risking spills.

The tool consists of a plier with replaceable knife trays ranging over five different tube dimensions. The knife trays have two knives so that the tubes are split into two halves, which makes it simple to remove the tubes in a safe manner. When splicing and dropping fibre with loose tube it may be beneficial to split the tubes length-wise over a shorter length, a so-called window cut.
